Volunteers with the Paris Hat Project are up to something new — hat art.
The recently created organization, dedicated to looming hats out of yarn to distribute to grade school children in the fall, now has its own exhibit at the Bicentennial Art Center and Museum in Paris, located at 132 S. Central. The exhibit will show off approximately 100 hats knitted by members of the Hat Project. The hats, hanging on top of balloons in their exhibit, literally float in mid-air from the ceiling.
