DANVILLE – The Paris boys basketball team opened their season at the Topper Classic Monday versus Bismarck-Henning at Paul C. Shelby Gymnasium in Danville. The Tigers came away victorious 57-38.
Paris started the game with a bang, as junior Dalten Temples hit a three from the corner putting the Tigers up 3-0 before either team could break a sweat. The first quarter was a “get to know each other period” as both teams were feeling one another out, trading basket for basket. Bismarck came out hot from the field hitting their first four shots and at the end of the first quarter Paris held a 18-13 advantage.
